Agritechnica 2017 exceeds expectations
Attracting about 450,000 visitors, this year’s Agritechnica has equalled its record of 2015. The Schäffer stand could enjoy a number of visitors that greatly exceeded the figures two years ago. “This is a clear sign that Schäffer loaders are growing in importance for agricultural concerns. We are delighted with the burgeoning interest in our machines,” stated Richard Bremenkamp, Schäffer Sales Manager, with obvious joy.
True to the exhibition’s main theme “Green Future – Smart Technology”, Schäffer presented a whole series of new machines, all contributing to enhanced efficiency and minimised draw on resources. And way in front, the world’s first electric loader based on a lithium ion drive concept. “We were especially pleased at the resounding interest in the 23e, our first electric loader. The customers were almost immediately convinced by the concept behind this innovative machine, which is underscored further by a warranty on the battery of 5000 charging cycles or five years’ operation and a charging time of only thirty minutes.", reported Richard Bremenkamp.
Also the new telescopic wheel loaders met with a resounding response. “By introducing our 8620 T, we have now also made the last of the three large telescopic wheel loaders fit for the future. They now all comply with the Tier 4 final emission standard, and their new cab and various options for reducing operating costs offer the best conditions for comfortable and efficient use,” concluded Richard Bremenkamp.
