Always remember - safety first and last, the brakes are there to slow down and stop with you always in control.

The hydrostatic transmission is generally sufficient for slowing down in most situations. For real stopping power there is the multi-plate ”Easy Brake” system working on all four wheels. You can stop quickly and safely on any terrain with any load – the multi-plate breaking system runs in an oil bath and as opposed to drum breaks requires no servicing and is free from wear. The effect of the hydrostatic drive and the ”Easy Brake” system is controlled and measured out by the break inch pedal – it couldn’t be better. Especially with larger machines and greater loads this is an invaluable advantage and is a standard system fitted to all types of machines over 2 t - only from Schäffer.
