Since end of 2009 all loaders have to be delivered with
a protective roof. With the new SLT models Schäffer come up with a product line
specially designed for use in areas with very low passages.
First representative is the new compact wheel loader
2336 SLT. This machine with a total height of only 1.95 m will be
able to master the majority of low sections. Compared to the normal 2336, the
diesel engine was placed slightly further back and the wheelbase was lengthened.
So room for the lower seating position has been created, which make getting on
and off the loader even easier. The ergonomics is quite similar to the standard
model. The loader offers also for tall drivers more than enough space. The longer
wheelbase has a positive effect also on the tipping load which sticks out with 1250 kg.
With the ground clearance, there are no differences to normal machine. The SLT protective
roof still meets the guidelines according to ROPS and FOPS test standard.
The Schaeffer 2336 SLT is a very agile loader
which is equipped with a smooth-running 4-cylinder engine with Kubota 26 kW.
Alternatively, a more powerful version with 33 kW is
available. Maximum pushing
power is guaranteed due to the specifically for this type of loader designed axles.
The power of the hydrostatic drive can be optimally used. The speed of the 2336 SLT
is 15 km/h. An under load switchable fast gear of 20 km/h is available
as an option. As standard, the
wear-and maintenance-free disc brake is applied. As on all the Schaffer loaders
the articulated pendulum joint is completely maintenance free. Due to the large
pivot angle, the loaders are extremely agile, what helps a lot when the machine
is used in hard to reach areas. The width of the 2336 SLT depends on the
selected tires and is between 1.02 to 1.39 m. The lifting height is 2.88 m,
a high lift version with 3.11 m is available as an option.
The SLT 2336 is deliverable within the normal lead time. It also planed to build the smaller models of the 2000 series as a SLT with decreased height. These machines will have a total height of less than 1.90 m and will be available in spring 2011.
