With the 9380 T, Schäffer Maschinenfabrik presents at Agritechnica the worldwide first articulated telescopic loader with a lifting height of 6.90 m. The machine which has been developed for the demands of a large scale agricultural farm, combines the best from many worlds: Clear view, force, stability and lifting height.
The new Schäffer is the telescopic loader in the 11 tons class with the best all-round view available. The principle of the articulated steering allows the cabin to be positioned centrally. Just like with a normal wheel loader, the view to all directions is optimal. Also untrained drivers work safely and quickly. Thus the optimal machine performance is produced and it is worked highly productive.
The full lifting height of the 9380 T is 6.90 m. So the Schäffer penetrates territories which previously only four wheel steered systems had. The boom is telescopable in two stages. For works as for example the loading of mixer feeders, only the first stage is activated. If the full range of lifting height is required, the second stage is automatically activated. Ferro-Form sliding elements guarantee a telescopic procedure without any problems for years.
Also with regard to ergnomics Schäffer offers a lot: the "SCV“-cab (Silence / Comfort / View) is perfect for long working days. It is one of the most spacious and most comfortable cabs in the loader construction. All hydraulic operating functions are in the joystick. Thus the left hand of the driver continuously remains at the steering wheel. The control lever is adjustable in height and incline. Armrest, joystick and seat form a unit. This ensures the best comfort level and ease of use. Naturally the air conditioner is standard equipment.
The serial load-sensing hydraulic control provides up to 195 l/min. All working procedures are running at best dosing capability also at a low engine speed. The load sensing pump will only pump if capacity is required. Oil heating and therewith power losses are no longer any issue.
The water-cooled Deutz Common Rail Turbo diesel engine works also very efficiently with 132 kW (180 PS). Dusty working conditions are no problem due to the serial reversing fan. Especially for the demands in the agriculture, the new STS (Schäffer-Triple-Speed) gearbox has been developed. With a shear force of more than 12,000 daN, this hydrostatic drive will deliver sufficient force also for demanding tasks. The driver can chose between three different speed ranges, whereby the change between the ranges is possible also under load at any time without loss of traction force. Two oil motors which are switched independent from each other provide a stepless and powerful acceleration. All drive components are perfectly matched. In case of quicker runs on roads, the second oil motor is automatically uncoupled completely which saves a substantial amount of energy. Fuel is transformed economically and effectively into performance. The maximal speed is 40 km/h.
Serially the 9380 T is equipped with tyres 650/55 - 26.5. These supply the required traction on all subpsoils and provide a good stability. The loader has more than enough power for climbing silage clamp or diiging into compacted yard manure. This very good stability is also reached by the rear axle suspended oscillatingely.
The operating weight of the new Schäffer telescopic loader is 11 tons. With a tipping load of approx. 5 tons, the Schäffer also moves heavy loads. The offer includes a wide range of tools and accessories.
