Northern Ireland based Cyril Johnston and Company Ltd has secured the UK and Ireland distributorship for Schaffer’s range of wheel loaders and telescopic handlers. Cyril Johnston has been successfully working with Schaffer in Ireland for more than two years.

There are over 40 models with a range from 27 hp to 177 hp, which are suitable for a number of applications within agriculture, grounds care and construction. Some of the most popular models have included the 900T (100 hp) and 930T (130 hp). Both have a lifting height 5.25m and a lifting capacity of 2.6 kg and 2.8 kg respectively.
The larger machines feature a water cooled Deutz Turbo Diesel engine. Both the 900T and 930T will prove attractive on commercial livestock and arable farms. The smaller models feature a water cooled Kubota engine. These will prove attractive to owners of equestrian establishments, smaller farm businesses and other businesses such as garden centres / nurseries, etc.
