New Schäffer loaders 2021 and 2027 with path-dependent hydrostatic 4-wheel drive

With immediate effect the most compact loaders of the 2000 series of Schäffer are also equipped with a hydrostatic traction drive.

The new loaders 2021 and 2027 are particular in this regard. The handling of the loaders becomes very easy due to the path-dependent hydrostatic drive. The speed of the diesel motor is adjusted by hand throttle or gas pedal according to the conditions of use. The direction and speed control happens via a gas pedal on the left side of the machine. This makes a quick and very precise manoeuvring possible to the nearest centimeter which is an invaluable advantage especially for compact loaders and very tight working conditions. Up to now a simple gear pump has been used in this series as drive. The hydrostate has got much higher shear forces and also functions as a brake. Downhill the loader doesn't "run" away anymore, the mechanic service brake is released.

The two new Schäffer models are driven by diesel motors of the world's largest manufacturer Kubota. The 2021 is driven by 15 kW (20 PS), the 2027 by 19 kW (26 PS).

All articulated joints of Schäffer are fully maintenance-free. As hitherto this component has got an extended guarantee of 3 years or 3000 operating hours.

With a minimum outer width of only 79 cm, the 2021 can also be used at extremely inaccessible places. With a width of 89 cm, the 2027 is hardly wider. The maximum width is 1.09 m. Due to a multitude of options, both loaders can be used in different working conditions like agriculture, horse husbandry as well as horticulture and forestry.
