New telescopic loaders with articulated joint of Schäffer with best all-round view and manoeuvrability

The new compact telescopic loaders 460 T and 470 T from Schäffer with an operating weight of 4 tons complement Schäffer's programme of articulated telescopic loaders.

The principle of the articulated steering makes these telescopic loaders extremely manoeuvrable. The back wheels track true to the front wheels. A high angle of steering lock and the very low overall height of 2221 mm predestine these loaders for working in tight corners. The middle, big dimensioned cabin makes the perfect all-round view possible which is supported by the low steering of the loading arm. The driver can always optimally see the working tools.

The maximum lifting height of the new series is 4,25 m. The gliding elements of the telescoping arm are indestructible, the tool cylinder is protected within the telescoping arm.

The freely suspended rear axle greatly increases the durability of the machine as well as the big dimensioned tires. The articulated joint of the two loaders is over-dimensioned and is also used for the Schäffer telescopic loaders of the next bigger class.

The maximum speed is optional up to 30 km/h so that the machine can quickly be used on several farmyards. Torque Kubota motors drive the machine. According to model they have got 45 kW (60 PS) or 54 kW (75 PS).

A wide programme of additional equipment for all possible uses is available.
