The two new Schäffer Yard Loaders type 3038 and 3046 offer increased performances. For the first time the Kubota motors of the latest M-generation are in use. The consumption was reduced yet again and the motors have become even quieter. The 3038 is driven by a 38 HP and the 3046 by a 45 HP motor. Not for nothing Kubota is one of the world's largest manufacturer of compact diesel motors.
The original Schäffer axles convert the engine power and the hydrostatic drive into fractious pushing power. Concerning model 3046, the pushing power is more than 2000 kg! This is an absolute peak value with regard to an operating weight of just about 2 tons. The axles are equipped with 70 mm strong plug-in shafts and belong with a loading capacity of up to 7 t per axle to the strongest of their class. Also new is the two-stage air-filter in the two models which is included in the standard scope of delivery.
If you request a lifting height of up to 3,2 m, also higher feed grinder mixer can be reached. The Schäffer 3038 with an optional lifthing height of more than 3,00 m is equal in every way.
Both loaders are characterized by their compact design. The width of the machines is according to the choice of tyres between 1020 mm and 1500 mm, the length is just 4090 mm or 4170 mm for the model 3046.
Compared to the predecessor models, the tip-over loads have also been improved. Concerning the 3046, the tip-over load on the pallet fork has got excellent 1550 kg.
Like all Schäffer loaders the two new models also offer the maximum possible operator convenience and ergonomics. A broad and safe access is understood as well as the comfortable and adjustable seat with a wide range of spring. The control lever gives you sure control, the steering column is adjustable. The machine is operated by a combined brake-inch pedal. A maintenance- and wear-free wet multiple disk-brake provides for a safe brake application at all times.
