More power is always an issue. And wheel loaders are no exception to the rule. With models 5070 Z and 5090 Z, Schäffer now launches the most powerful compact wheel loaders. Operating weight: 4 tons, approx.
The hind carriage of the forerunner model has been modified. It now offers enough space for a Kubota engine with 54 kW / 75 hp or 65 kW / 90 hp which gives the loaders enough power for the most sophisticated jobs. To harness that power, the hydrostatic drive system and axles had to be modified accordingly. The new axles, made by Schäffer, can take up to 30 % more torque than before. The best thing is, however, the loader always adapts to the load currently required, automatically and independent of the pre-selected speed.
Lifting power and tipping load have been improved, too. The new lifting height is 3,400 mm – which is high compared to others.
The new and modern design of the bonnet will offer the driver a much better view to the back. A trademark of Schäffer's telescopic and wheel loaders is the full floating rear axle. The merits are obvious in rough terrain where the loader's strength and stability under load are significantly increased.
At the same time, the height of the loader is only 2,320 mm (at the cab). Of course, you can have your loader optionally with a hardtop or folding ROPS (roll-over protective structure). The width of the loader depends on the type of tyre selected and falls between 1,420 and 1,630 mm.
Max. driving speed is 20 kph for the standard model. As an option, we also offer 30 kph. If so required by the customer, both versions can be equipped for road traffic.
